![]() ![]() So I was born into a real farming family. But my ancestors probably ran the farm as a farm even beyond that. I run it in the fifth generation and that is only what I know for sure. ![]() By signing up for adoption, you support us as a CrowdFarmer already during the cultivation phase and we look forward to the harvest together. High quality and sustainable cultivation are particularly important here. What we like most about CrowdFarming is that we can bring our high-quality organic food directly to the consumers without any detours. In the process, the quality and origin of the food often take a back seat. Prices and sales volumes are now decided globally on the stock exchange and we have to compete with producers who can set completely different price parameters than we can. However, we can never be sure that we will get our harvest completely marketed. We enjoy working closely with nature and look forward to seeing the fruits of our labor. We all discuss the division of work and upcoming activities in the morning, during breakfast together. My father and I share the work on the farm and the fields. My mother, together with our employee Sascha, lovingly takes care of our cows and the rearing of the calves. She takes care of everything organizational. My sister is responsible for the bookkeeping and the administration in the office. The work on our farm is very varied, as we earn our main income by keeping dairy cows and chickens. A wide variety of insect species, birds and soil creatures find a place of life and refuge in our fields. It fills me with joy when I see how our meadows and fields have changed since the conversion to organic farming. I knew right away: that's how I want to run my farm! Since 2019, our farm has been certified according to Bioland guidelines, something I am particularly proud of. I have been drawn to nature since I was a boy and I was sure early on that I would like to follow in my father's footsteps one day.ĭuring my apprenticeship as a farmer, I spent an apprenticeship year on an organic farm and was fascinated by the processes and working methods of organic farming. ![]() Our farm has a rich history tradition and has existed for at least five generations that we know of for sure.
